Parkwood Neighborhood Cleanup a success!
We cleaned up the Pilcher Park - Parkwood Path for three hours on
the event day.
The individuals who participated are as follows.
LaMellis McCormick - President
Archie Gavin - Vice-President
Councilwoman Susie Barber
Andrew Peterson - Unity CDC Volunteer
Laura Peterson - Unity CDC Volunteer
Steven Washington - Student Volunteer
Jesse McCormick - Resident Volunteer
Officer Stapleton - walked through the path with us for approximately
1 1/2 hours.
We ended up with 8 large orange bags of debri from the trail as well
as noted with pictures/video various debri thrown over from the
apartment complex as well as a ranch on the other side with farm
debri; this debris was not cleaned up by our volunteer group.
Following the clean-up we joined Amy Sanchez at Haggi Park.
